TPO membrane is a newer generation of roofing. This product was used on the Olympic buildings in Salt Lake City, and has become recognized as an alternative to EPDM. It is now specified for many projects and is considered a state of the art environmentally friendly product as the color is usually white or tan. This also can be applied in a 45 of 60 mil thickness. It is a thermoplastic membrane which is not as  heavy as the traditional EPDM. Durango Roofing has installed thousands of squares of this product for various weather conditions. The project for the National Forest Service in Gunnison Colorado  on some of their buildings has lasted almost two decades with extremely inclement weather. TPO projects completed by Durango Roofing can be seen a variety of places; the La Plata County Airport, the Durango Water Treatment Plant, the Animas La-Plata Project Offices by the Centennial Center, Kentucky Fried Chicken to name a few.
